Samra Knots began as a quiet escape. It started during a difficult time when I needed something gentle, grounding, and healing. Macramé became just that — a simple, repetitive art form that helped me breathe through the noise.

But it quickly became more than a hobby. It became a tribute to my mother. Her creativity, strength, and warmth continue to inspire me every day. With every knot, I felt closer to her. Creating with my hands became a form of therapy, a way to honor her memory and pass on the love she gave so freely.

What’s Behind the Name?

Samra is my family name—my full name is Rasha Samra. From the start, I knew I wanted to carry a part of that legacy into this journey. Naming the brand Samra Knots felt natural, like weaving a piece of my story into every creation.

This isn’t just a shop. It’s my heart, my roots, and my love for handmade craftsmanship.

Why Macramé? Why Now?

Macramé is more than fiber art. It’s a form of mindfulness. It taught me to slow down, enjoy the process, and be present with each knot. That calm, intentional energy is something I want to share through Samra Knots.

I use high-quality, eco-friendly cotton cords in a soft, earthy palette: off-white, warm light brown, and muted sage green. These colours reflect my love for minimal, natural home aesthetics and bring a peaceful vibe into any space.

Each item is handmade by me in small batches with great care and intention. From keychains to wall hangings, every piece is crafted from start to finish — no mass production, just mindful making.

And yes, there are tangled cords, off-days, and creative blocks along the way. But that’s part of the charm. Each imperfection adds character. Each knot tells a story.
